I am trying to dispose of this Moth for the club.  Any monies raised will go to club funds. I have permission from the owner to dispose of her.

The Moth is lying in the CSC boat park and is basically complete with a launching trolley.  It is, however, in need of TLC as it leaks.  To my eye it looks to be eminently salvageable - probably in better overall condition than my own Moth (SN 730) before I restored it.  I have no previous connection with it and have, at present, no idea where it is leaking from.  I would, obviously, suspect the centre board casing (or fastening bolt if one is lucky)

It is an old boat - probably early 1960s - and therefore ideal for a luddite.  Don't think you'll win the Moth Nationals with her...  but she
will be a beautiful dinghy with some work.

You can contact me on 01732 455984 to discuss.

Clive
